Wings of Love "Wings of Love" is an emotionally gripping adaptation of a story from the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata, as translated into Telugu by the revered poet Aadi Kavi Nannaya. This short film was created during the third edition of the Runway ML Gen 48 AI Film-Making Competition, showcasing the power of AI in breathing life into timeless tales.

The story follows Jarita, a devoted mother bird, caught in the catastrophic Khandava forest fire, and her heart-wrenching attempt to save her four sons. Agni, the god of fire, sets the forest ablaze with the support of Krishna and Arjuna to satiate his hunger, defying Indra’s efforts to douse the flames.

As the fire rages on, Jarita faces an impossible choice to protect her children. She urges them to hide in a hole, but her eldest son, Jaritari, warns of lurking dangers and suggests facing the fire's sacred purpose with courage. Their story culminates in an act of divine mercy when Agni, moved by their father Mandapala's prayers, spares their tree and nest, reuniting Jarita with her children unharmed.

This tale intertwines themes of sacrifice, motherhood, and resilience, offering a poignant reflection on the strength of love in the face of destruction.
