"In the Act Now, our mission is to emphasize the urgent need for animal conservation through a visually impactful and emotionally resonant interface. The design features a striking dark mode with yellow highlights, chosen intentionally to evoke a sense of seriousness and urgency. The dark background symbolizes the critical state of many endangered species and the shadow of their plight, while the yellow highlights draw attention to key messages and calls to action, creating a beacon of hope and urgency amidst the darkness."
The choice of somber, sad expressions in the animal images is a deliberate strategy to foster empathy and drive action. These images are designed to reflect the real emotional toll of poaching and habitat destruction, reinforcing the gravity of the situation and the immediate need for intervention. By portraying the animals’ sadness, the design aims to create a powerful emotional connection with visitors, motivating them to contribute to the cause.
