"You can't be lonely if you like the person you're alone with" - William dyer.

Living in an era where the most romantic gesture one can receive is a swipe on a late Friday night is bleak, to say the least. It can be exhausting in the world of modern dating; how about flipping the script and giving all your love and attention to the most important person in your life: you. No one is more deserving of your love than you, and you're always guaranteed a fun time!
There are many ways to fall in love with yourself and have a marvellous time doing so. When was the last time you did something wholeheartedly for yourself? When was the last time you tried something new? Dating yourself is the perfect way to create the life that feeds your soul. Here are three ideas to get you started.
1. Try Something New
What hobby have you wanted to start but have yet to get around to? Is it painting? Crocheting? Pottery? Ballet? Treat yourself by being creative and learning a skill you've put on the back burner. This is also a fantastic way to meet new friends with similar interests.
2. Museum/Art Gallery Visit
Taking yourself on a museum/art gallery date is the perfect way to expand your horizon. Museums and art galleries are brimming with rich history and beautiful relics that you can enjoy at your own pace because that's the plus side of taking yourself.
3. A Trip to the Local Florists
Treat yourself to a beautiful bouquet of flowers. This act of self-love is empowering, a self-esteem booster and a charming way to brighten your home. To make this activity individual to you, do a little research and pick a flower based on your current desires because different flowers have different meanings. For example, apple blossoms bring good fortune, daffodils represent new beginnings, joy and happiness, and purple iris' represent wisdom and compliments.
