Squarespace Website Design for Nightshift Cycles

This is a Squarespace website concept for Nightshift Cycles, a London bike shop that sells city bikes and the parts that go with them. The brief I gave myself: most bike shop sites shout about sales and specs. I wanted one that looks like the bikes do, dark, simple and built around the ride.

The homepage opens with "The city doesn't slow down. Neither should you." over a night shot of a fixed gear in the rain, with the last line in bright lime green. A "Shop the Collection" button sits under the headline and in the navigation, so a visitor can go straight to the bikes.

A short section called "No unnecessary parts. No accidental details." explains how the shop chooses what it sells: frame first, purposeful components and city-ready design. The lineup section, "Find your kind of fast.", shows each bike with its type, price and available sizes, and has filters for category and price. Below that, "Look closer. Ride better." gives the frame and contact points their own close-up photos, and an equipment section lists lights, bar tape and other parts that finish the setup.

I used near-black and charcoal with one lime green accent, and tall condensed headlines. The green only shows up where a visitor should look or click, so the page stays quiet around it.

Built on Squarespace, so the shop can add bikes, change prices and update stock without a developer.
