Performance Testing for HoneyBricks

HoneyBricks is a real estate investment platform built to support users in exploring and managing property investment opportunities through a reliable and scalable digital experience. The platform required strong quality assurance coverage to ensure that its core features worked smoothly, performed well under load, and met business requirements before release.

The client needed a structured QA process that could validate both functionality and system performance. Since the platform was built on microservices, it was important to identify performance bottlenecks early, verify system behavior under high user load, and ensure that all user stories were properly covered through detailed test scenarios.

I worked on the quality assurance and performance testing side of the project. My responsibilities included preparing test scenarios, validating requirements, executing different types of testing, and using JMeter to evaluate system performance under load.

I designed and implemented a JMeter-based performance testing strategy for the platform’s microservices. The tests simulated high user traffic to help identify bottlenecks, measure service behavior under load, and support system scalability improvements.

Before development was completed, I created detailed test scenarios and test cases based on user stories. This helped improve requirement traceability and allowed potential defects or gaps to be identified earlier in the development cycle.

I also performed GUI testing, system testing, functional testing, black box testing, and white box testing to validate application behavior, reliability, and overall quality. During performance execution, I monitored system behavior under load and worked closely with developers to highlight issues that needed optimization.
