Foggy Bridge | Environment design

A personal project of mine, where I focused on creating a full scene from scratch in as little time as possible without sacrificing quality.

The inspiration for this scene comes from the works of Simon Stålenhag.

The overall idea was to create a foreboding and cinematic image. One of the challenges was to get the scene haze to work well with the lighting and the environment.

I also played around with the Blender compositor and made a version that makes use of the new Kuwahara filter. This gives the image a more painterly feel.
