The brief was to build a new image for association that has seen a decline in numbers since the Covid pandemic and to bring a youthful and exciting aspect to an organisation that needed an influx of members to survive.
The below passage is the supporting document for the above logo.
"This past year has been an incredible year for the ISAA in more ways than one. We have felt that with all the changes and challenges that this year had brought, it was time for us to really focus our efforts on the future and the first step was a major rebrand.
With a brand-new logo comes a brand-new presence, solely focused on bringing value to the large number of archers that make up our community.
I am really proud to share that apart from a new logo, we have a new brand identity as well. It seems like a big change. But rest assured, our core beliefs have not changed at all. Our unwavering commitment to our values, our archers and our core goals remains the same.
ISAA will now have a youthful, fresh, and confident new look: with bold type, refined colours, and our most defining element: The Target.
The Target might seem simple, and if you think so, you are absolutely right. It is merely a target, but it reflects who we are: Focused. Principled. Driven. Determined. Visionary. Sophisticated. Agile.
This is what has always defined us; and this will continue to define us in the years to come. We will endeavour to serve every single archer, every single athlete, with the utmost dedication in a simple, focused, and principled manner.
We are dynamic enough to transform when the need arises, to showcase our youthful exuberance and our desire to constantly move forward. This attitude will help us stay current, competitive, innovative, and energetic. The stability and trust that comes with the rich experience of the ISAA balances finely with our desire to always remain contemporary so we can continue to face changing times.
The Target reflects this sense of continuity and balance; highlighting our strive to remain relevant in the future. It brings to life our endeavour to cement ourselves as a steadfast brand with a no-nonsense, no-gimmicks approach to archery, backed by the right blend of results and community.
Numbers are what we always focus on, but they are just a part of what we are driven by. What they give our athletes and us in turn, is far more powerful, pride.
It is this that will continue to truly drive us. Because when we come together, we will be #AlwaysOnTarget, we will all find returns in more ways than one.
