Templates won't get you to your desired destination

The client bought a template that he used to migrate from a massive WordPress website to Framer. However, the template was insufficient. On top of that, the migration introduced plenty of issues that brought the site down in rankings and usage.
That's where I came in.
My job was to fix all the issues, create new missing pages, and improve the existing ones.

Highlights

Optimized SEO (from 74% to 89%)
Fixed up broken imports, links, structure, etc.
Empowered the Content team to post more unique blog posts by giving them more options

Client Brief

The owner of BritishTheatre.com wanted to move from WordPress to Framer for better performance and a new look. They bought a template that they used when moving and imported all the content.
However, the move was more challenging than expected as the WP website was massive - 6000+ posts, thousands of links, etc.
They needed a dedicated Framer expert that can go over the whole website and fix all the issues the expert would find.

Overview of work

As a Framer expert, I went over the whole website and fix anything that I came across.
Some of the problems that were found and fixed:
Design
The template was not made for the type of content that was on the website, so some modifications had to be made
Improved the header and menu
Home page restructure so that it works with the content and also helps with SEO
Improvements to Blogpost CMS and 3 different Gallery options
SEO and site structure
Content issues across 6000+ blog posts, 500+ products and venue pages
Fixing formatting issues
Fixing broken links
Cross-linking shows and venues
Missing pages
A dedicated page for shows
Dedicated page for Venues

I will not go over everything but let me elaborate on few points from above.

Gallery and Embeds in Blog posts

I added a functionality for the Content team to add 3 different Galleries within the content or at the end of the blog post. Think of it as an option to embedd a Gallery within content. And as Framer does not support this within its Rich Text CMS field, I had to find a creative solution for that.
I added option to add 3 types of galleries, each fitting best with certain type of content or images.
I did the same thing with an option to add videos (Youtube, Vimeo) or actual code embeds.

Extending CMS

Connected Venues to Shows so that the information is pulled from one source. This saves time, improves SEO, and also provides valuable information for the user.
