The Velvet Tarot Set is a generative AI–driven reimagining of the tarot archetypes produced using advanced models to probe the intersection of visual mythology and computational aesthetics. Rather than replicate tradition, this project interrogates how archetypal meaning, texture, and atmosphere can emerge through AI as a creative partner in design.
By positioning visual design within AI-augmented workflows, this project also raises questions about authorship, intuition, and the future of illustration practice not as a replacement for traditional craft, but as a co-creative method of discovery.
