Branding Case Study

Insika is a newly opened Lodge in one of my favorite places on earth: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

Their logo was inspired by the location so was based off the three main elements: Victoria falls, the Bridge and the African Sun.

The branding was my modern take on vintage explorer styling while having elements of African patterns, cave paintings, drums, and stone work. One thing I loved was trying to involve a bit of red to portray a sort of African take on a whiskey brand feel, so as to move away from the very common greens and browns.

I think it worked well and I wish Insika the best hosting their new guests.
