Metorbike - 3D Configurator for E-Motorcycles

Metorbike is a premium electric motorcycle brand based in Hamburg, Germany, building handcrafted café racer and scrambler-style e-bikes. The project involved building their interactive 3D configurator, allowing customers to customize every detail of their bike before ordering.

Metorbike sells handcrafted, made-to-order electric motorcycles where every bike is a unique build. Customers choose colors (including custom RAL/HEX codes), leather, wood, handlebars, seats, tires, sound systems, and premium add-ons. The brand needed a way to let buyers visualize their exact configuration in real time before committing to a purchase.

Interactive 3D Configurator A browser-based 3D configurator at konfigurator.metorbike.de where customers build their Metorbike step by step. Users rotate, zoom, and inspect their bike from every angle while swapping out components in real time.

Real-Time Material & Color Rendering Built realistic material rendering for leather, wood, metal, and custom paint finishes. Colors update instantly, including support for custom RAL and HEX color codes, so customers see exactly what their unique bike will look like.

Component Selection System Integrated the full product catalog: seats (single/dual), handlebars, tires, lighting, ABS options, sound systems, and premium add-ons. Each selection updates the 3D model and running price total.

Checkout Integration The configurator flows directly into Metorbike's ordering and financing system, supporting direct purchase, private leasing, business leasing, and employer-sponsored Jobroller options.
