Collaborating with Flight Studio, I worked on several key scenes for the recent Diary of a CEO episode titled "Dopamine Expert: Doing This Once a Day Fixes Your Dopamine! What Alcohol Is Doing to Your Brain!!"
The Diary of a CEO takes viewers on an unfiltered journey through the lives of extraordinary individuals who have shaped culture, achieved greatness, and shared invaluable insights.
In this episode, the focus was on the science of dopamine, visually depicting what happens in the brain and uncovering its profound influence on thought and behaviour. I adhered closely to the collage-like animation style established by the team, ensuring every element aligned seamlessly with the overall creative vision.
By combining layered imagery and dynamic 2D assets, the animations transformed complex scientific ideas into an immersive and visually compelling experience, capturing the audience's attention and elevating the episode's storytelling.
The episode interviews the incredible Dr Anna Lembk, a Professor of Psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine and chief of the Stanford Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic.
Adding motion design creates a more engaging experience. It makes the content more accessible and shareable, and helps key ideas really stick with the audience.
