A digital space for attention and care

Yatim’s Light is a personal awareness website that encourages everyday compassion for orphaned children. A cinematic introduction, expressive serif typography and a deep-green palette set a reflective tone for stories and practical reminders.

My contribution

I developed the website with Next.js, React and TypeScript. The experience combines editorial sections, image-led story cards, anchor navigation and expandable contact flows, with GSAP and Lenis supporting the motion and scrolling treatment.

Storytelling with a clear purpose

The site moves from its opening message into practical acts of care and an illustrative story gallery. The presentation focuses on readable hierarchy, considered pacing and a consistent visual language across the experience.

Project scope

This is an awareness and storytelling concept. Names and vignettes in the gallery are illustrative, and the website is not a fundraising service. Contact and story-sharing flows currently use demo server actions. This case study showcases the website development rather than verified beneficiary outcomes.
