An anniversary is always something to be celebrated especially when it is for an annual party. The Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix has a department called NowGen. They connect Jewish adults in their 20’s to 40’s in community, philanthropy and leadership.
I had the opportunity to create a brand identity for their 20th anniversary of Mazelpalooza that celebrates young Jewish professionals to come together and party at the end of the year. The theme of this gathering was 90’s music and fashion which was expressed in the design. I used vivid colors and bold patterns that were popular during that era. I integrated the number 20 into the words while keeping the recognizable name prominent.
This project drew the attention to their core demographic and brought back all of our consistent guests to the event. I submitted this brand identity to Hermes and GDUSA’s American Inhouse Design Awards and was awarded gold by both organizations.
