Fragrance UGC Series — Cerisier Rosé, Rituals & Rose Eau Parfumée

A series of short-form UGC videos for three fragrance products — each styled and shot to capture the mood of the scent, not just the bottle.

THE PRODUCTS

L'OCCITANE Cerisier Rosé 
A cherry blossom eau de toilette — light, floral, and delicate. Shot with water and ice to bring out its fresh, dewy feel.

RITUALS Rituals Océan Infini

A calming ocean-inspired perfume from Rituals. Styled on a large tropical leaf to echo its fresh, natural character.

 L'OCCITANE Rose Eau Parfumée di L'Occitane en Provence

A soft, soothing rose-scented body mist — shot up close with water droplets to highlight its gentle, refreshing feel.

How I approached it

Perfume is one of the hardest products to shoot for UGC. You can't show a scent. So the whole job is making someone feel something when they watch — curious enough to want to smell it themselves. That's what I focused on with each video.

"I didn't just style the bottle. I styled the feeling the perfume is supposed to give you."

For the Cerisier Rosé, I used ice and water to make it look fresh and cool — like a spring morning. For the Rituals Océan Infini, I placed it on a large tropical leaf because the scent is all about nature and calm. For the Rose Eau Parfumée, I shot it up close with water droplets on the packaging — soft, quiet, and clean. Each setup was chosen to match the mood of the product, not just to look pretty.
Everything was self-shot and styled with what I had around me. That's the whole point of UGC — it's real, it's relatable, and it doesn't feel like a brand campaign.

A note on the work

This series showed me that great UGC for fragrance is really about visual storytelling. You're selling a feeling before you're selling a product. The moment I started thinking about the mood first and the bottle second, the content started to look and feel a lot more like something someone would stop scrolling for.
