My script for Elise Monson's "5 Equals 1". Elise was the director and choreographer of this work, and she gave me some themes and ideas she was working with and asked that I create a couple of separate monologues for the dancers to speak throughout the piece. I chose to write a set of 3 individual narratives that had unique perspectives and ways of storytelling that still achieved a similar effect and thematic unity.
