Sidney curated and performed HOMUNCULUS as part of her senior thesis to fuse her interest in Dance and Psychology. Inspired by the concept of the sensory homunculus, Sidney worked with nine student choreographers to create a ten-minute solo based upon nine body parts and their sensory reception. For this piece & its performance, along with a research paper detailing its conceptualization, Sidney was awarded the University of Southern California Discovery Scholar Prize & Grant in May of 2021.
