In my recent project, I built an e-commerce platform for

mimiblooms

from scratch

using Medusa.js and Next.js, focusing on both the backend architecture and the storefront's user interface. I deployed the frontend on Vercel, known for its efficiency and reliability, while the backend was set up on Heroku, a cloud PaaS that offered robust performance and integrations with apps like Stackhero for Redis.

A significant aspect of this project was the creation of a unique logo, which added a distinct brand identity to the site. To enhance the site's functionality and user experience, I integrated Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights packages, ensuring the platform's performance was constantly monitored and optimized.

For the management of image files, I utilized Cloudinary's cloud-based storage, providing a seamless and efficient way to handle media content.

Overall, the goal of this project was to create a modern, efficient, and user-friendly e-commerce site.
