This highlights an OBM project that I completed to earn OBM Accreditation. The task was to help a US-based business coach streamline their business processes and scale their business. The goal of this project was to showcase my business system & operational skills

My role as an OBM was to delegate tasks, streamline processes, and enable the business coach to focus on revenue-generating activities. The project involved:

Streamlining recurring tasks within the business

Identifying areas for improvement

Coordinating a podcast project

Delegating tasks to appropriate team member

Enabling the business coach to focus on growth activities

At the start of the project, the business coach was managing all of the client care, outreach, and business communications, which was limiting their ability to focus on growth activities. I identified and delegated tasks to appropriate team members to enable the business coach to step back and focus on the bigger picture. To begin, the business coach and VA had completed an audit of recurring tasks within the business, but the processes were disorganized and required streamlining. I worked with the business coach and VA to:

Identify areas for improvement and streamline the processes to ensure that tasks were delegated effectively.

Develop systems to ensure that recurring tasks were done efficiently and accurately.

Implement efficient communication channels to improve collaboration between team members.

By streamlining the processes and enabling the business coach to focus on revenue-generating activities, we were able to scale the business significantly. The business coach was thrilled with the outcome and reported a significant increase in revenue and growth opportunities.
