Cutout-Inspired Textile Pattern Collection

This two pattern collection is built around a single design principle borrowed from textile craft the cutout. Every motif across both prints is conceived as a flat, clean edged shape: no gradients, no blending, no soft edges. Each element reads as though it has been cut from a piece of coloured cloth and appliquéd onto a ground fabric.    The first pattern, a dense folk botanical repeat, arranges oak leaf forms, stylised tulip heads and simple petal cutouts across a cream ground in terracotta, olive, lavender, and yellow.    The second pattern applies the same cutout logic to the fruit market kiwi cross-sections, pomegranate halves, figs, orange slices, and corn rendered as flat die-cut shapes on a deep red ground laced with flowing white decorative vines. The vine detailing echoes block-print resist patterns, where the ground colour bleeds around reserved motifs.
