Kidstory App redesign - iOS

Kidstory™ helps parents capture all the stuff that they don't want to forget - "your kids' story" - their favorites, firsts, quotes, artwork, sports, and the photos and videos that go with each moment. This app aims to help parents capture their children's memorable moments.

Goal:

The client requested an aesthetic UI for an enhanced user experience.

My contributions:

After studying the old app, I prepared a report based on my findings. I recommended a new app workflow that could reduce the learning curve. Additionally, I suggested some new features that the client loved.

My redesign included:

An entirely new design

The removal of unnecessary features

A more efficient workflow

A user onboarding process

The ability to invite other users to a kid's profile

Other than that...

I created some email templates

As well as communicated constantly with developers

Designed graphics for social media

During this project, I played multiple roles - user interface designer, project researcher and manager, and graphic designer.

Results:

I was appreciated a lot by the client because I provided them with a valuable service. Next, we will redesign the app's website (landing page) and create social media graphics to keep users engaged. Thanks for your time!
