As a former communications director for national nonprofit organization, I had the pleasure of creating Press Releases for a former U.S. President who served on the organization's Board of Directors. That position required that I write meaningful communications that would inspire people to take action in support of the goals of the charity to build affordable housing. I learned how to communicate for business entities in a manner which resulted in media coverage of their events.
