Strathroy Pride Sponsorship Statement

This is the work that fills my cup. I’m a passionate advocate for LGBTQIA2S+ rights and visibility, and I believe every human deserves to feel safe, supported, and celebrated.

As a sponsor of Strathroy Pride and a proud member of the Aeolian Pride Chorus, I show up with my voice, time, and heart — whether that’s singing at local events, supporting fundraisers, or helping behind the scenes to keep grassroots movements thriving. My volunteer work is grounded in joy, inclusion, and a deep commitment to protecting queer spaces.

Last year, I joined others in successfully blocking a local council motion that would have banned community flags (including Pride flags) from being raised at town hall. I wrote letters, advocated publicly, and stood firm in solidarity with others in the community, because visibility matters, and I don’t stay quiet when it’s threatened.

I also lend my professional skills to LGBTQIA2S+ organizations by writing grant proposals, impact statements, and educational content that helps amplify their mission and expand their reach. From local initiatives to national campaigns, I’m here to help great causes tell their stories with power and pride.
