The BBC News account is the largest news account on Instagram, serving over 20+ million users. My role was to lead the redesign of new social templates and develop a system that looks cohesive across platforms.
In collaboration with designer Sean Willmott and Social Team ~ Jeremy Skeet, Isabelle Tudor, Claire Galloway.
We monitor the performance and audience stats, and make updates to increase engagement and interest, as well as continually improve the user experience on platform.
It’s critical in any social platform to keep track of what’s trending and the ever-changing logic in the way the alogrithims work to make sure that we are providing the best content native for the platform.
