A dear friend of mine once approached me stating that he had this philanthropic project he wanted to realise. An important part of this project was to create a digital infrastructure for its participants.

Problem & Solution 🤝

The problem was providing a professional platform for the NPO. My solution was implementing a Webflow website.

Goals/Requirements: • Imagery that is inviting and of good quality • Clean and Minimalistic Design • On par with modern standards

Process 🛣

The first step was to do some research. This was a new niche for me and most of the NPO websites are very traditional and do not have very complex designs. My task here was to stay within the NPO frame but tailor it according to the clients message. Hence I went with a mix of both.

Results 🎁

We successfully managed to create a platform where users can register and find out new information regarding the project. Since they didn't have a website prior it is difficult to provide any significant metrics. The main problem was having a digital platform to begin with. This was solved.

Takeaways 📣

I definitely enjoyed working on project that will also have a sustainable long-term positive effect on the local youth in our community. It is not everyday that can directly impact socio-economic issues with your work.
