Aftercast (concept): Framer site for an AI flight recorder
Self-initiated concept. Aftercast is a fictional flight recorder for AI agents. The incidents, operators, numbers and people are invented, and Aftercast is not a real product. Live site: aftercast-concept.framer.website
The problem
When an AI agent goes wrong in production, it rarely crashes. It keeps going, confidently, in the wrong direction, and every log line says 200 OK. Teams need to see what the agent saw, what it did, and the exact moment it went wrong. Most observability sites show that with a dashboard screenshot. I wanted the page itself to be the evidence.
An incident report you can replay
The site is written like an aviation incident report: a docket, a summary, numbered findings and recommendations. The lead incident, AC-0417, is a refund agent that paid 312 orders twice over 41 minutes and reported success. The look borrows from the real thing: international orange for the recorder housing, a cool paper report, a serif for the narrative and a mono for the transcript.
The recorder
The centrepiece is a Framer code component. Drag the playhead and the transcript, the counters, the agent's own confidence and the paid-twice tally all update to that second. Orange pins mark each finding, and Page Down jumps to the next one. It works with a keyboard and on touch, and it respects reduced motion.
One template, three incidents
Every report is a CMS item that carries its own run as JSON. The report template binds the docket, headline, summary and rich-text body to fields, and passes the Run field straight into the recorder. So the outreach agent that sent one draft to 1,780 leads and the coding agent that deleted its own migration each get their own replay from the same page.
Built in Framer
Native stacks and grids at Desktop, Tablet and Phone breakpoints, text styles that step down per breakpoint, mapped rich-text styles, scroll-section links, and a title, description and social image for every page. The social image is rendered from the real recorder. The layout was assembled through a small Framer plugin I wrote, so a rebuild is repeatable.
