The Burger: Responsive Website Template for Burger Restaurants

Designed and built "The Burger" — a fully responsive, CMS-driven website template for burger restaurants in Framer. Includes a dynamic menu system connected to Framer CMS (categories, prices, images, descriptions), a locations block for multi-branch restaurants, and a contact section — all optimized across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Built for quick content updates with zero code.

I carried out an analysis of burger restaurants worldwide. I identified the competitors’ strengths and highlighted them.

Next, I mapped out the user journey. As the restaurant does not have its own delivery service but uses well-known local delivery services, this was the key factor that needed to be taken into account.

The first and main user journey: ordering food, which involves the following steps.
The second user journey is booking a table.

I built a wireframe for the landing page. At this stage, the client made changes to the layout and sequence.

At this stage, I selected a colour palette and prepared the photos and videos.

Two concept options were created: a dark one and a light one. In the end, I went with the light one to maintain a sense of lightness and playfulness.

I chose an unconventional palette with blue and orange as the primary colours. The visual logic of the website is as follows: blue is used to draw the user’s attention, whilst orange indicates clickable elements. This helps the user subconsciously form an association (‘clickable button – orange’ – this applies to buttons and icons).

Once the design was finalised, I began building the website in Framer.

I built the website, configured the technical aspects and created responsive layouts (tablet and mobile).

I then added scroll animations to make it more dynamic.
