ALL WEATHER — independent cinematic school bag concept film
A school bag for every world.
ALL WEATHER is a self-initiated cinematic commercial for a fictional school bag brand. Created for a PixVerse video challenge, it explores how a product can become part of an emotional story about individuality, belonging and a small act of kindness.
The creative idea
The children bring different natural worlds into the same classroom: water, flowers, greenery and a night-sky palette. Those visual identities return in the bags, connecting character design to the product reveal. The story moves from difference to a shared moment, giving the final line, “School bags for every world,” a narrative foundation.
Direction and visual storytelling
Warm classroom light and cinematic framing ground the surreal characters in a familiar setting. A sunflower-covered child and a suspended drop of water make the exchange of kindness tangible. The closing product lineup brings the colors and textures of the characters together as one fictional brand family.
My contribution
I developed the concept and creative direction, produced the AI visuals, and shaped the finished film through editing, music integration and sound design. The portfolio version uses restrained English on-screen copy at key story beats, allowing the imagery to carry most of the emotion.
The finished piece
The result is an approximately 78-second brand film that demonstrates character-led storytelling, a coherent visual world and a product-focused ending. This is an independent challenge entry and speculative commercial, not a commissioned client campaign. No advertising-performance results are claimed.
