ALL WEATHER — 15-second silent animatic; self-directed motion study

ALL WEATHER — From Rough Sketch to Motion

A self-directed, AI-assisted motion-launch study for a fictional school bag brand. This 15-second animatic explores how a visual idea develops through roughs, storyboards, motion cues and revision. It is a silent pacing study, not a finished commercial.

The Idea

“Carry your world.” Five graphic motifs introduce five identities, reveal the hero school bag, then form a coherent product family. The sequence preserves the relationship between each motif and its bag while giving the final message time to breathe.

From Roughs to Animatic

Three rough scene compositions establish the narrative.
Six key poses define copy, timing, transitions and motion.
A 15-second animatic tests continuous handoffs between scenes.
A self-directed revision comparison explains why secondary motifs stay visible during the hero reveal.
Editable Figma text and vector elements support a clear design handoff.

Timing

0–4 seconds: introduce the five worlds. 4–9 seconds: build the product around the hero motif. 9–15 seconds: resolve into the product family and brand message, with a four-second reading hold at the end.

Production & Scope

Creative direction, concept, copy and pacing: PONTA FILMS, with AI-assisted vector development and rendering. The Figma boards are editable; the animatic was rendered separately from the vector artwork and timing cues, not exported as a native Figma animation.
This is an independent portfolio exercise, not commissioned client work. The revision is self-directed, not client feedback. The motifs are graphic identities and do not represent tested product-performance claims.
