Bear Conservation Data Analysis

I was hired by Spectacled Bear Conservation, an NGO dedicated to the conservation of the Andean bear, to provide data analysis on a vulnerable bear population in Northern Peru.

This is a complex project that leverage the power and flexibility of the R language for data cleaning, visualization and analysis.

Studying animal health over time by using analyses such as mixed models, logistic regressions and GAMMs.

Using my expertise as a biologist and researcher to contextualize results effectively.

A research paper for an international journal [currently being finished]

Data insights applicable to bear conservation efforts.

Improved quality of the client's datasets.
