About: The Green Barn Farm is a traditional, family-run farm, shop, and cafe nestled in the heart of North Benfleet, Essex. Owned and operated by the Lyons family, who have been tilling the same soil for generations, this farm is a proud testament to British agriculture, sustainability, community and farm-to-table living.
What I Do: As the lead editor and TikTok manager for The Green Barn Farm, my main aim was to capture and convey the essence of what makes this farm truly special: their passion for responsible farming, contributions within the local community and the fulfilling experiences that they provide for their visitors.
This goal was achieved through a range of video formats that catered to different aspects of the farm:
Interviews:
Interviews were among the first video formats implemented on the Green Barn Farm channel. Initially, they served as an ideal way to launch the account, providing a warm introduction of the Green Barn Farm family; offering viewers a personal glimpse into the lives of the individuals behind the farm, detailing their roles and contributions.
As the channel progressed, these interviews continue to play a crucial role in deepening the 'get-to-know us' aspect of the farms content. Delving into the backstories of the team, their favourite aspects of the job, the challenges they encounter, and any other thoughts, this series enriched the personality of the farm's online presence while strengthening the connection between farm and audience.
Piece to Camera (PTCs):
Piece to Camera videos are the bread and butter of the Green Barn Farm account. In these segments, team members directly address the audience, sharing timely updates, interesting information and engaging stories about the farm, shop and cafe.
Whether it’s exciting news about seasonal produce arrivals, behind-the-scenes glimpses of farm activities, or special announcements of upcoming events, these videos provide an immediate and personal touch that keeps our audience informed and connected to all aspects of the farm.
Cinematic Montages:
These edits also showcase the farm and spotlight upcoming events, just in a more visually captivating way. By pairing these visuals with trending music, we strategically boosted the reach of our content to broader audiences.
Green Barn Giggles:
Content to make you chuckle! These videos don't take themselves too seriously – instead they're a delightful mishmash of the mischief that unfolds on the farm. They're an essential part of showcasing the farm's vibrant personality and embodying The Green Barn Farm as a fun-filled day out for the entire family.

About: Located in the heart of Faversham, Kent, TMS Automotive and Keith's motors is your trusted destination for all things vehicle related. Run by Tom (nicknamed TikTok Tom) and his wife Rachael, TMS Automotive is committed to providing an excellent and honest service to its customers.
What I Do: As the dedicated video editor and TikTok manager for TMS Automotive, my primary objective was to highlight Tom’s extensive expertise and the daily operations at the garage. This goal was achieved through a few key video formats:
Hands-On Edits:
These videos capture Tom in action, meticulously diagnosing and resolving various automotive issues. Through these edits, I aimed to provide a clear window into the precision and care Tom brings to every job, emphasising his commitment to quality and integrity.
Q&A Series:
Engaging directly with our audience, this series allows viewers to submit their automotive questions, which Tom answers in a detailed video responses. This interactive format not only showcases Tom's deep knowledge but also builds a bridge between him and both car enthusiasts and novices alike. It’s a platform for education, demonstrating real-time problem solving and fostering trust within the community.
Information and Advice Segments:
Similar to the Q&A series in it's purpose, but differs as these segments were usually curated by us to target particular topics. Whether its to jump on particular trends in the industry, news or to provide visual tutorials, these videos deliver timely and practical information that underscores Tom's expertise and commitment to customer care.
Together, these video formats serve to illustrate the high-quality and honest service at TMS Automotive, reinforcing Tom’s reputation as a trusted mechanic and enhancing their digital footprint through engaging and informative content.
