Teatro Cedrus Rebranding Project

Jorge Flores

The rebranding of Teatro Cedrus in Pachuca, Hidalgo, involved redesigning its logo based on the original, inspired by the theater’s architecture but simplified into basic geometric shapes influenced by Luis Almeida’s style. The choice of the classy yet modern Kilotype’s Queens font complemented this new identity.
The entire identity revamp was crafted around this new logo, addressing the challenge of unifying the theater’s promotional materials. Given that Teatro Cedrus primarily functions as a venue for various promoters who bring their own design elements, the goal was to establish a foundational design language that could complement the theater’s aesthetics while enhancing its distinctiveness and communication effectiveness.
The project extended to the website, enhancing its look and user experience to match the updated branding, making the theater’s communication more effective and harmonious.
