An award winning speech

On Wednesday, October 9, a Spoken Word competition was held in conjunction with the Martin Luther King Lecture, centered around the theme "Freedom, Justice, and Hope." Yasin Nurmohamed was chosen as the winner. It was an evening filled with passion and creativity, reflecting the ideals of Martin Luther King.

The Voice project is an international initiative to which my client YOPE contributes. Together with this organization, we traveled to Portugal. Our goal is to represent young people in minority positions across Europe at international congresses to help influence political decisions. Project Achmea ( The Netherlands ) For this project, I was invited to write and deliver a speech at the company Achmea. This company operates in the financial sector and monitors whether the money deposited into banks is earned ethically. The staff indicated that it can sometimes be challenging to have conversations with their clients, as they strive to support them while occasionally having to impose penalties. For this event, I crafted a fitting speech tailored to the situation.
