The product was a cognitive enabled, native cloud application based on Blockchain principle: Managing budget, planning, managing expenses to reconciliation and reporting -a mini ERP. Besides conceptualising and designing the product Ajay designed the cloud architecture and system design including embedded components & services: APIs, RPA& RDAs, AI/ ML services, DBs, service mesh and DevOps modules- enhancing the system architecture in an Agile manner.

This project included the creations of SAAS modules, re-platforming and integrating existing web based products and creating AI/ ML solutions for creating a “smart” system.

He created the product and process, using Design thinking, with a cross functional team. Responsible for the wireframe, rapid prototyping, detailing the UI design for optimized user experience with the UI/ UX teams.

This product ecosystem comprised of 5 SaaS products in it.

-          Budgeting: This module allowed the user to input the budgets or connect for a direct import from an existing finance system. Divvy the budgets, track the utilisation and tie back the budgets to the plans and expenses to allow the users to be on top. It included a number of AI/ ML to recommend, enhance and suggest to the users better ways to help manage the budget.

-          Planning: This was a comprehensive and easy to use module with integrated AI/ ML models to help plan for activities in a “smarter” way allowing and showing the users of cohorts that they missed, the recommended approach to target plans more effectively, approve plans across multiple levels, track the performance and predict the outcome of the plans as they are executed, and suggest/ allow quick changes to the approach.

-          Expense: Allow users to create the expense vehicles, RPAs to create these in other complimentary systems reducing and removing manual efforts. The system also allowed for tracking monitoring and prediction, quick impact analysis for budget cuts and increases and automation to run these quickly and effectively in the systems.

-          Reconciliation: A systems that allows users to see the books, reconcile automate reconciliation supported by AI and RPA to remove the manual efforts across multiple systems enabling, quick, precise and effective methods of reconciliation.

-          Reporting: This system was a comprehensive reporting that provided the users to have quick canned reports plus the ability to do deep dive analysis and run decision tress etc to get to the bottom of an issue or subject.

The resultant was that the ROI increased by approximately 5 basis points on a short term, and reduction of manual effort by 50-80%.
