Fredson: AI Tutor for Video Lessons

Fredson is an AI tutor I built for Aceleradora Musical. It sits beside a video lesson and answers questions using the current lesson, playback position and relevant transcript passages.

I built the embedded widget, backend and content-ingestion pipeline. Streaming replies keep the interaction responsive. Timestamp links take students back to the relevant part of a video, and approved actions can save study notes.

The system uses TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Qdrant to connect the course interface with indexed lesson content. Access checks limit retrieval to the lessons a student is allowed to use. The public demonstration uses a sample lesson; paid course content and private source code are not shared.
