ADT SOS

🙌 Promise

Giving people the chance to have ADT on standby whenever they feel unsafe.
Whether that’s a walk in a parking garage at 1 am, or talking to a resident as a leasing staff. Everyone has a right to be safe.

🧠 Strategy

This marked our first integration with a core ADT safety feature set after the acquisition of IOTAS. Before expanding to a broader roadmap of security panels and cameras, our goal was to deliver safety features to all users—residents and managers alike.
Protect people, not things.

👨‍🎤 Residents

We began with residents to broaden our reach. Research revealed that people valued the peace of mind this feature provides, especially in our primary target market — garden-style properties.

👩‍💼 Managers

Safety is also critical for property staff. In situations like eviction notices or resident disputes, a one-tap safety feature can be a lifesaver.

✨ Future

We’ve only scratched the surface of personal safety—through single-tap widgets, live activities, or routines that lock doors, turn off lights, and set safety timers for your Wednesday evening run.
