This project involved the redesign of the SwanseaFloats website, focusing on improving the overall user experience, simplifying the navigation structure, and modernizing the visual interface.

The goal was to make the website easier to navigate, clearly communicate the services offered, and guide visitors more effectively toward bookings, memberships, and vouchers.

The existing website had several usability and structure issues:

→ the user journey was not very clear → content hierarchy was inconsistent across pages → key offers such as memberships and vouchers were difficult to compare → the interface felt visually outdated

These issues made it harder for visitors to quickly understand the services and take action.

The redesign focused on improving both the UX structure and the visual interface.

Key improvements included:

→ simplifying the overall user flow → restructuring page content for better readability → redesigning the layout to create a cleaner visual hierarchy → adding FAQ sections to key pages to reduce user friction → highlighting service benefits on dedicated pages → improving call-to-action placement across the site → restructuring membership and voucher plans to make them easier to compare → redesigning the header and footer for clearer navigation → adding a top information bar with working hours, address, and contact details

The visual interface was also updated with a more modern layout and a calmer color palette aligned with the nature of the services.

The redesigned website now provides a clearer user journey and a more modern browsing experience.

Visitors can more easily:

→ understand the services offered → navigate between pages → compare memberships and vouchers → find key information such as contact details and opening hours

The improved structure and interface help guide users more naturally toward bookings and offers.
