Fragrance Atelier is Kintessence's e-commerce arm - designed as a seamless extension of the brand, focused entirely on creating a frictionless, elevated online purchasing experience for niche perfumes.
The challenge was translating the sensory, highly personal experience of fragrance discovery into digital commerce. You can't smell through a screen, so the site needed to communicate scent profiles, individual preferences, and product differentiation through visual cues, detailed descriptions, and intuitive navigation.
We designed the experience around three principles: scent profile clarity, personalized discovery, and elevated ease. Detailed fragrance notes, olfactory family filters, curated recommendations based on preferences, and generous product imagery create confidence in blind-buying decisions.
