This project focuses on maintaining electronic appliance data with a specific emphasis on models and sellers. The goal is to create a system that efficiently manages information related to electronic appliances and provides a seamless experience for both sellers and buyers.
The project utilises a Visual Flow, which is a declarative tool in Salesforce for creating guided user experiences. The Visual Flow is triggered based on the provided phone number. When a user enters their phone number, the flow executes and checks if a user with that phone number already exists in the system.
If the user exists, the Visual Flow prompts them to add more items to their inventory of items for sale. The user can input the details of additional electronic appliances they want to sell, such as the model, condition, price, and other relevant information. This allows sellers to easily expand their product offerings within the system.
On the other hand, if the user doesn't exist, the Visual Flow guides them through the registration process. The flow collects necessary information from the user, such as their name, contact details, and any additional required information. Once the user is registered, they can proceed to add items to be sold.
The system ensures that electronic appliance data is maintained in an organized manner, linking models to sellers. This enables effective tracking of inventory and provides a comprehensive overview of the available electronic appliances.
By implementing this project, sellers can conveniently manage their electronic appliance inventory, add new items, and easily update existing listings. Additionally, the system enhances the user experience by offering a user-friendly registration process for new users and facilitating the expansion of their product offerings for existing sellers.
