Collectif SMACK : a raw, militant, and hard-hitting commitment

The collectif is a Toulouse-based performing arts collective bringing together a number of creative minds around a common idea: Create; Produce; Pass on.
The collective's aim is to make a difference through the production of committed works, while ensuring that they break away from the usual production models where the question of mental health does not arise.
And it starts with a name: "SMACK", which represents both the impact of the works and their commitment, and the opportunity they offer viewers to open their eyes to different societal issues.

Logo Suite

For this initial concept, the aim is to focus on the idea of impact, but not in its literal sense. We plan to use simple, raw graphic elements to convey this idea.
This minimalist approach aims to communicate powerful messages concisely, making them easy to read. Strong contrasting colors will also be used to attract attention.
SMACK embodies the voice of committed activists, characterized by direct expression and offering points of reflection on our society.

Color Suite

The chosen colors are reminiscent of those frequently seen in graffiti, an urban artistic expression, and blend harmoniously to create visually appealing combinations.
The objective was to select colors that evoke the urban environment while remaining contemporary and supporting the collective's messages.

Typography

The BBB Poppin, is a typeface reworked by a non-binary graphic collective called Bye Bye Binary, is used here to reflect ideas and values of inclusivity. This font combines a raw, modern feel.
Additionally, we have the font "DM Sans," which adds a touch of modernity to the overall identity.
