A bold and vibrant animation that pushes the boundaries of geometric storytelling through precision-crafted Rive animations.
The Problem:
Optimism + Agora had powerful data and a bold vision for RetroPGF Round 3 — but lacked clear, engaging visuals to communicate their message to a broad audience.
The Challenge:
Short timelines, minimal budget, and evolving feedback made it difficult to balance creativity with clarity, and polish with agility.
The Solution:
I crafted 9 infographics and 3 animations rooted in their sunny visual language — blending storytelling, motion, and bold design to make complex governance data accessible, compelling, and shareable. Delivered beyond scope, on time, and ready to scale.
LottieRive-Specific Implementation:
Modular Design: Each shape was created on adobe illustrator and animated on after-effects, exported in lottie, and perfected as an independent layer in Rive, allowing for reusable components across animations.
Fluid Motion: Animations were synchronized using Rive’s timeline tools, ensuring perfect timing for overlapping movements that feel alive.
Color Transitions: Dynamic gradients were animated within Rive, utilizing the app’s resource-efficient color transformation capabilities.
Scalable Across Devices: Designed with Rive’s resolution independence, the animation maintains crisp visuals on all screen sizes without additional overhead.
Impact:
This project proves that complex data can be understood, transform minimalist designs into engaging, scalable animations suitable for modern websites, apps, and branding projects.
Now, imagine this little sun replaced by some of your brand elements or logo. Cool content with tons of potential, right?
