Journey Into Healing is a holistic wellness practice led by Gina Hurley, offering reflexology and complementary therapies designed to support women through overwhelm, exhaustion and the challenges of everyday life. Based in Crediton, Exeter, the brand combines one to one therapeutic support with educational resources and online courses.

The website needed to communicate a deeply personal and calming approach to wellbeing while making several different offerings easy to understand and navigate.

The experience needed to introduce Gina and her approach, showcase her therapeutic services, promote online courses, educate visitors through blog content, establish trust through testimonials and ultimately guide visitors toward taking the next step.

I structured the homepage around a simple progression: identify the visitor's problem, introduce the brand, establish personal connection, explain the approach, present the available ways to get support, provide educational value, reinforce trust and finally create another opportunity for conversion.

This structure allowed the website to communicate more than what Journey Into Healing offers. It also communicates how the experience of working with Gina is intended to feel: calm, supportive, personal and guided.

Instead of placing every service at the same level and asking visitors to figure out what matters to them, the homepage progressively introduces the brand and gives visitors several opportunities to discover the most relevant next step.

The visual direction was built around the emotional nature of the brand.

Instead of relying on a clinical or overly corporate aesthetic, I used soft greens, warm neutral tones, gentle pink backgrounds, organic decorative elements and generous spacing to create a sense of calm.

Photography was also treated as an important part of the experience. Images of the treatment environment and Gina herself help visitors understand the person and environment behind the service before they ever make contact.

The result is a visual system that supports the positioning of Journey Into Healing: approachable, nurturing, personal and grounded.
