Schnopsn LIVE – Website Redesign

DonkeyCat, an Austrian mobile card game developer known for "Schnopsn Online," hired me to completely overhaul the website for their product "Schnopsn LIVE." This site serves as an online calendar for live Schnopsn card game tournaments across Austria, allowing users to find local tournaments, organize their own, or join official events created by the "Schnopsn" team. The original website was antiquated, missing crucial information, and difficult to navigate, with outdated and duplicate content. It also lacked both a mobile & tablet version and was not performing well in SEO.

Modern design: Create a visually appealing, modern look inspired by current e-game website trends, ensuring that the design is both attractive and functional.

Restructuring: Restructure the site to make essential information easily accessible, add new content to boost engagement, and streamline navigation to enhance user experience.

Accessibility: Develope mobile and tablet versions to capture a broader audience.

SEO and traffic growth: Implement SEO best practices to drive targeted traffic, focusing on improving site structure, content quality, and backlink strategies.

User engagement: Boost social interaction by integrating features that allow users to easily share tournaments on popular social media platforms.

Significant traffic increase: By creating mobile and tablet versions of the website, we nearly doubled organic traffic and user engagement within six months. The fresh, useful content also attracted new external backlinks, which helped position the brand at the top of Google’s search results in Austria and within the top three in the DACH region.

Enhanced user experience: The redesigned site made it easy for users of all generations to navigate, register for, and create new tournaments. Additionally, the ability to easily share tournaments on social media led to increased conversions and broader community engagement.
