Project overview
This short-form video follows a residential deck restoration project from visible damage to active repair and the finished result. It was designed for fast viewing on mobile social platforms.
The challenge
The source footage was vertical, practical and captured across different stages of the job. The edit needed to create a clear story quickly while keeping the transformation easy to understand.
Creative approach
I structured the video around the problem, repair process and outcome. Concise captions, clean typography and focused pacing keep attention on the work and make the sequence understandable without lengthy narration.
My contribution
Vertical video editing, scene selection, story structure, animated captions, typography, pacing, transitions and audio finishing.
Deliverable
A polished 9:16 social video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and paid local marketing.
