In this project, I collaborated with Syamsi Dhuha Foundation, a lupus and low vision community, alongside with KiBA (Children's Book Illustration Class) from Bandung Institute of Technology to make a children's picture book about education of Lupus. This project also served as my final college project in my last semester in Visual Communication Design major, Bandung Institute of Technology. This book, "Befriend the Butterfly", is 38-pages long with the size of 21cmx21xm that aimed for readers aged 7-12 years old.

For this project, I worked as the author and also the illustrator while I keep discussing regarding the topics and the illustrations with other parties.

Making overall decisions regarding the topics, the story premises, and particular information about Lupus that need to be delivered.

Doing visual explorations for the color palettes, image references, art style references, and typography references.

Doing character design and environment design explorations while writing the rough script of the narration.

Making storyboard.

Doing revisions of the storyboard.

Drawing the pages one by one.

Doing revisions of the pages.

Finalizing the projects and making sure the project is suitable for printing.
