An Android app used for drawing names from "a hat"/groups. Allows you to maintain multiple groups each with their own name list.

Originally started in 2012 to help me learn Java and Android development, this project has been kept up to date over the years as a sample. The app stores the data on device (SQLite) and allows you to add and manage both groups and names.

A rework is in development using an updated design and new Android technology such as Jetpack Compose for UI. Project available at https://github.com/fifersheep/android-names-in-a-hat
