A book that returns two albums by photographer Tomás Bradley to circulation:
Vistas de La Plata desde su fundación (1882–1885) and Vistas de La Plata y
obras del puerto (1885). Forty photographs commissioned by Governor Dardo
Rocha to document the birth of a new capital.
The volume places these images alongside period paratexts — speeches,
chronicles, letters, maps, founding legislation — and current photographs of
the same buildings by Ezequiel Narcisi. The materials sit without hierarchy,
reconstructing the context in which the original albums were made.
