General Info
A paper boat sailing the digital sea started as a conversation. In April 2025,
Azul Pantalla was invited to speak about Funes el Disperso at the Publish or
Perish research seminar (UCA), alongside its author María Marta Preziosa.
The discussion circled around a set of urgent questions: Why do we publish?
What survives in digital publishing, and what doesn’t? How do we preserve
individual voice and authorship? How do we persist?
The seminar became a text.* Together with Preziosa, we wrote a short essay
and turned it into a fanzine — complete with folding instructions, so it could
be sent out to navigate the ocean of overinformation. Because publishing is a
form of resistance.
