Client's Goal: An independent artist wanted their astrology readings to sell and deliver themselves—no inbox triage, no copy-paste—so their site could earn on autopilot.

Orders arrived through Stripe, but fulfilment was manual and error-prone.

Customer inputs (birth date, time, location) had to be captured and used reliably.

Readings needed to look polished, brand-aligned, and send securely at scale.

Solution & Approach: I built a fully automated fulfilment system in n8n that listens for Stripe Checkout completion, generates a personalized reading with an OpenAI GPT model, renders a branded PDF, and emails it via SendGrid—end to end, hands off. The workflow filters by product using Stripe metadata, pulls the customer’s custom fields, crafts a tailored reading, converts it to a designed PDF with an HTML-to-PDF engine (headless browser), and delivers it in a personalized email with attachment and secure links. Automatic retries, detailed logging, and error alerts keep it reliable at volume.

Real-time Stripe webhook trigger: Filters the exact product via metadata; pulls custom fields (birth data, location, notes) for personalization.

AI-written reading: OpenAI GPT model turns the customer’s inputs into a coherent, empathetic, on-brand astrology report.

Branded PDF generation: HTML/CSS template rendered into a clean, consistent, print-ready PDF.
