The client approached me for help in preparing a financial valuation model (DCF) for their company and support in the sell-side advisory process, creating a pitch deck, and support through the negotiations in the pre-seed and seed phases.
As part of the process I built a financial (DCF) valuation model for the Company;
- to understand and validate all cost and revenue drivers that drive the business of the company
- calculating the EV of the company, using a discounted cash flow model
- supporting them to analyze various sensitivities of the business through various drivers used
- creating various charts, KPIs and ratios to present the results in a user friendly way
Additionally, I've also created a pitch deck (selected slides attached ) for the company, highlighting the most important parts of their business case and supporting them through the pre-seed and seed rounds. For the pitch deck, I prepared a market research, created summary of the problem, the solution they are trying to resolve,their competitive advantage, as well as a breakdown of their financials, indicating what the additional financial resources will be needed for.
